Description
Flaxseed Flour Chebureki
Ingredients
- Kefir - 8 fl oz
- Cottage cheese - 3.5 oz
- Flaxseeds - to taste
- Activated Baking Soda - ¼ teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Veal Mince - 24.7 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mash the cottage cheese with a fork, add kefir, a pinch of salt, and a teaspoon of sugar, and mix thoroughly. Add the baking soda that has been quenched in vinegar and enough flour to make a firm dough.
Step 2
For the filling, add salt and pepper to taste to the prepared minced meat, grated onion (or minced through a meat grinder), and 3 tablespoons of water. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3
Cut a piece from the dough, roll it out into a thin layer, and cut out circles using a saucer as a guide. The dough scraps can be reused.
Step 4
On one half of the dough circle, spread a thin layer of filling. Cover with the other half of the dough and press the edges with your fingers. Fry the chebureki on both sides over medium heat in hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
