  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Powder - 4 teaspoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Butter - 5.3 oz
  • Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
  • Chives - 7.1 oz
  • Buttermilk - 7.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 428°F.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add the butter cut into small pieces and mix with your hands until it resembles crumbs.

Step 3

Add the finely chopped chives, then the buttermilk, and knead the dough well.

Step 4

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop 0.25 cup of dough for each biscuit, spaced 5 cm apart. Place in the oven and bake until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
