Ingredients
- Milk - 1 cup
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
- Vanillin - to taste
- Dried cranberries with sugar - to taste
- Raisins - to taste
- Ground dried cherries - to taste
- Nuts - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dough. In a small amount of warm milk, dissolve the yeast, add a tablespoon of sugar, and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes to rise.
Step 2
Beat 2 eggs well with 100 grams of sugar. Add the remaining milk, melted warm butter, and salt — mix. Add the risen yeast mixture — stir. Sift in 450 grams of flour, knead the dough — it should be soft and slightly sticky to the hands.
Step 3
Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and place it in a warm place for about 30 minutes — you can place the bowl in a larger pot filled with warm water to help the dough rise faster. Punch down the dough and wait for it to rise again. After that, you can bake the pastries.
Step 4
Filling. Mix 1 egg, 50 grams of flour, 50 grams of sugar, and vanillin into the cottage cheese. Add raisins, dried berries, or crushed nuts to taste.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with a small amount of butter.
Step 6
Form small patties from the dough and place them on the baking sheet (leave about 3 centimeters between them: the pastries will rise).
Step 7
Make a depression in each patty and place the filling inside. Let the pastries rise for about ten minutes.
Step 8
Place in the preheated oven at 356°F and bake for 20–25 minutes.
