Description
1 teaspoon of dry yeast is equivalent to 12 grams of fresh yeast.

- Water - 12 fl oz
- Sugar - 1½ tablespoons
- Salt - ⅓ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 21.2 oz
- Dry yeast - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water. Add 5 tablespoons of flour (100 g) and whisk the dough well until bubbles appear.
Step 2
Cover the bowl with a towel and place it in a warm place for fifteen to thirty minutes, until a foamy cap forms.
Step 3
Add salt and the remaining flour to the risen yeast mixture. Knead the dough. At the end of kneading, add the vegetable oil.
Step 4
Cover the bowl with a napkin and place it in a warm place until it increases in volume 2–3 times, for one and a half to two hours.
Step 5
The dough is ready to use.
