Description
The biscuit dough cools quickly, loses flexibility, and crumbles when folded. Therefore, it's best to bake the cookies in small batches over several rounds. It's preferable to print the message on the paper using a laser printer. If written by hand, the heat may cause the ink to run, making the message unreadable. It's not difficult to come up with predictions on your own (what a great opportunity for creativity!). Alternatively, you can use special databases of traditional Eastern wisdom or international/local aphorisms, quotes, etc.
Ingredients
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 3.2 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - 3.2 oz
- Vanilla extract - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
You should prepare wishes in advance, written on narrow pieces of paper, matching the number of pastries.
Step 2
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, salt, and essence, then gradually add to the egg whites, mixing gently.
Step 4
Prepare 2 non-stick baking sheets. Spoon the dough onto the first sheet, aiming to make the cookies thin and in a neat round shape.
Step 5
Place the baking sheet in the oven for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the first tray from the oven while the cookies are still hot. Using a wooden spatula, wrap a piece of paper with a wish inside each cookie. It's easy to fold the cookies; simply fold each circle in half, then fold it in half again. Repeat the same process with the second batch. The finished cookies will harden and become crispy as they cool.
