Four-Color Fruit Pie
Ingredients
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Citrus Zest Mix - ¼ tablespoon
- Fresh Berries - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with sugar, salt, and lemon zest, then add the egg and milk.
Step 2
Cut the butter with a knife and knead the dough.
Step 3
Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour.
Step 4
Roll out the dough according to the size of the dish, creating edges. Leave part of the dough for dividers.
Step 5
Make dividers from the remaining dough. Use 1/3 of the egg to brush the edges and dividers. Place a different type of berries/fruits on each quarter.
Step 6
Sprinkle with crumbs.
Step 7
Bake at 374°F for 35 minutes. Cool on a rack without removing from the dish.
