Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Date honey - 4.6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Pitted Wild Apricots - 10.6 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 teaspoons
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits.
Step 3
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Soften the butter at room temperature.
Step 4
Beat the butter with 100 grams of honey until smooth. Add the yolks and mix.
Step 5
Whip the egg whites with lemon juice until stiff peaks form.
Step 6
Combine the flour and baking powder with the honey-butter mixture, then gently fold in the egg whites.
Step 7
Pour the batter into a greased non-stick baking pan (you can line the pan with parchment paper).
Step 8
Arrange the apricot halves cut side down on top of the batter. Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Before serving, drizzle the remaining honey over the pie.
