- Wheat Flour - 5.6 oz
- Walnuts - 2.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 4.6 oz
- Milk - 1 tablespoon
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Apple - 2 lbs
- Raisins - 2 tablespoons
- Pear Jam - 5 tablespoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Walnuts - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Knead a smooth dough from flour, walnuts, salt, sugar, butter, milk, and egg. Wrap it in foil and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 2
Peel the apples, cut them in half, remove the cores, and slice them.
Step 3
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Roll out 6 round discs of dough with a diameter of 15 cm. Decorate the discs with apple slices and place them on the baking sheets. Bake for about 20 minutes.
Step 4
While the layers are still warm, sprinkle them with raisins and pieces of walnuts. Heat the jam, honey, and lemon juice. Brush the pastries with the resulting mixture.
