- Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Safflower Oil - 10 fl oz
- Salt - to taste

Step 1
Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm sticks. Place them in a bowl of ice water. Then dry them.
Step 2
Heat the oil slightly and add the potatoes. Fry in the oil covered for 12 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the potatoes and let them cool. The oil should also cool down. About 10–15 minutes.
Step 4
Heat the oil until it is sizzling and add the potatoes, frying until golden brown.
Step 5
Remove the potatoes from the oil onto paper towels. Dry and season with salt.
