Fried Apples with Chantilly Cream

Ingredients

  • Green Apples - 2 pieces
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Ground Cinnamon - 0.2 oz
  • Vanilla Ice Cream - 10.6 oz
  • 10% cream - 8 fl oz
  • Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
  • Butter - 1.1 oz
  • Powdered Sugar - 0.4 oz
  • Mint Leaves - 0.4 oz
  • Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Squeeze the juice from the lemon.

Step 2

Peel the apples, remove the core, and slice them into rounds.

Step 3

Drizzle the apples with lemon juice.

Step 4

In a skillet, melt the butter, add the vegetable oil, and fry the apples on both sides. Place them on a paper towel to drain the excess oil.

Step 5

Prepare the cream: Whip the chilled cream until fluffy. While continuing to whip, add the vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. Fill a pastry bag with a star tip with the cream.

Step 6

On a plate, place a slice of apple, sprinkle with cinnamon, and top with a scoop of ice cream. Garnish with a mint leaf. Pipe the cream in rosettes next to it.
