Fried Sandwich with Meat and Cheese

Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise - 2½ tablespoons
  • Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Ketchup - 1½ tablespoons
  • Marinade - 1 tablespoon
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 teaspoons
  • Horseradish Leaves - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Beans - 8 pieces
  • Butter - 3 tablespoons
  • Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Lean Beef - 15.9 oz
  • Coriander essential oil - to taste
  • Sauerkraut - 1.8 oz
  • Cheese Spread - 8 slices

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 356°F. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, marinade, lemon juice, and horseradish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread butter on the pieces of bread and place them on the parchment. Bake for about 5 minutes on both sides.

Step 3

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form round patties slightly larger than the bread slices. Season with salt and pepper. Grill or fry them. Sprinkle with coriander. Place sauerkraut on top of the patties, then carefully flip them so the sauerkraut is on the bottom and continue frying. Place a slice of cheese on each patty. The cheese should melt and the sauerkraut should become soft.

Step 4

On 4 fried pieces of bread, place the remaining 4 slices of cheese and return to the oven to melt the cheese. Then place them on top of the patties, cheese side down.

Step 5

Spread the dressing on the remaining 4 pieces of bread and then 'assemble' your burger from 2 parts. Enjoy your meal!
