Ingredients

  • Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Fresh basil leaves - 15.9 oz
  • Large eggs - 9 pieces
  • Water - 1 tablespoon
  • Goat cheese - 3.2 oz
  • Gruyère cheese - 2.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in an oven-safe skillet, add chopped onion, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

Sauté over medium heat for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onion becomes translucent.

Step 3

Add chopped spinach, water, and cook, stirring, for 1–2 minutes.

Step 4

Then crack in the eggs, sprinkle with crumbled goat cheese and Gruyère.

Step 5

Cook the mixture for 1–2 minutes until the edges start to brown.

Step 6

Then place the skillet with the frittata in an oven preheated to 392°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake until cooked through for 10–12 minutes. Serve hot.
