Frittata with Vegetables and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
  • Potato - 8.5 oz
  • Morels - 1.6 oz
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
  • Tomatoes - 2 pieces
  • Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
  • Ham - 5.3 oz
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the potato and cut it into four pieces. If you cut the potato into smaller pieces, it will cook faster.

Step 2

Place the potato in a pot with lightly salted boiling water. Cook until done, approximately 20 minutes. During this time, prepare the other ingredients.

Step 3

Prepare the mushrooms. Rinse, peel (if desired), and chop finely. Prepare the onion. Peel and chop finely.

Step 4

Cut the pepper in half, remove the core and seeds. Chop finely. Chop the ham finely. Grate the cheese. Chop the tomatoes finely. When the potato is ready, drain the water and chop finely.

Step 5

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter/margarine/olive oil in a skillet. Fry the potato over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from the skillet. Melt the remaining butter/margarine in the skillet, add the vegetables and ham, and cook over medium heat for approximately 8 minutes.

Step 6

Crack the eggs into a bowl and lightly beat them so that the white and yolk mix. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the potato to the skillet and press in the garlic. Pour the eggs on top. Cook for 20 minutes over low heat. Place the skillet under the broiler for approximately 3 minutes.

Step 7

Watch carefully to ensure the frittata does not burn. Remove from heat, sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the broiler to melt the cheese. Cut into serving pieces and serve hot.
