Description
Fruitcake with dried fruits
Ingredients
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Raisins - 5.3 oz
- Dried Apricots - 3.5 oz
- Prunes - 3.5 oz
- Nuts - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Baking Powder - 3 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the dried fruits in hot water for 15 minutes. This will soften them and remove any harmful processing from the store.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the butter into cubes and cream it with the sugar. Crack the eggs into the same bowl and mix. Set the resulting mixture aside.
Step 3
Rinse the dried fruits and cut them into small cubes (except for the raisins, of course). Simply chop the nuts using your preferred method.
Step 4
Add the dried fruits and nuts to the bowl with the dough.
Step 5
Sift the flour with the baking powder and knead the dough until it is very thick, similar to heavy sour cream! Be careful not to add too much flour!
Step 6
Grease the cake pan with butter and line it with parchment paper (if available). Fill the pan with the batter and place it in a preheated oven at 356°F for 50 minutes. Once a skewer comes out clean from the cake, it is ready.
