Fruits à la Victor Hugo
Ingredients
- Apple - 21.2 oz
- Pears - 21.2 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the pears and apples, remove the cores, and slice them. Grease a baking dish with oil, then layer the fruit, sprinkling sugar between the layers (you can add vanilla to the sugar if desired).
Step 2
Boil half of the milk and gradually pour in the remaining milk mixed with dissolved flour, stirring constantly. When the mixture comes to a boil and thickens, add the butter (75 g), stir, and let it cool. Combine with the egg yolks and half of the sugar, then fold in the beaten egg whites.
Step 3
Coat the fruits with this mixture, sprinkle with sugar, and drizzle with oil. Brown in the oven. Serve the fruits with cream or milk.
