German Vanilla Cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.7 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Powdered Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Margarine - 6.2 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Vanilla Pod - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the almonds.
Step 2
Knead the dough from all the available ingredients.
Step 3
Roll it into thin ropes the thickness of a finger.
Step 4
Cut the ropes into pieces 5 cm long. Shape them into crescents.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the crescents on it.
Step 6
Bake for about 15 minutes at 347°F.
Step 7
Split the vanilla pods and scrape out the contents. Mix with sugar and sprinkle over the finished cookies.
