Description
For New Year and Christmas, you can use wonderful cookie cutters from IKEA. They will serve as a perfect addition to a gift and create a festive atmosphere with their aroma. For Easter, you can bake them in the shape of bunnies and eggs, decorating them with egg whites and sugar. Let your imagination run wild.
Ingredients
- Ground Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
- Ground clove - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Grated Ginger Root - ½ teaspoon
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Freshly brewed green tea - 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - ½ cup
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 3 cups
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the sugar and cloves.
Step 2
Mix all the spices and the ground cloves with sugar.
Step 3
Add the dry mixture to the oil and mix thoroughly. Now it's time for the honey. Stir everything until you have a smooth, silky mixture.
Step 4
Brew natural coffee. Let it cool and add 4 tablespoons of liquid to our mixture.
Step 5
Add the baking soda. Beat in the egg.
Step 6
Sift the flour. Mix well. The dough should be homogeneous and firm. It should be comfortable to roll out to a thickness of about 3 mm.
Step 7
Divide the dough into about 6 parts. Form a ball, roll it out. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. I used a bear and a heart shape. I placed an almond in each bear's paws. I made the eyes and nose using a toothpick.
Step 8
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the cookies compactly (if the dough is very soft, you can roll and cut it directly on the parchment).
Step 9
Bake at 356°F for about 5–7 minutes. During this time, you can prepare the next batch.
