Description
Ginger Cookies with Almond Flour
Ingredients
- Butter - 6 oz
- Ginger - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Almond - 1.8 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soften the butter and grate the ginger finely, or use ground ginger.
Step 2
Mix the flour and baking powder. In the same bowl, gradually add the sugar, butter, and almond flour. Knead the dough, a mixer can be used. The dough will be thick and crumbly.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 320°F.
Step 4
Separate one-fourth of the dough and set it aside. In the remaining dough, add the egg. Knead the dough into a tight ball. Roll the resulting dough into a log and refrigerate for 40–60 minutes.
Step 5
Slice the log into rounds about 1.5–2 cm thick, placing a piece of the reserved dough on each. Press down.
Step 6
Leave enough space between the cookies, as the dough rises well.
Step 7
Bake for 20–30 minutes. Once slightly cooled, remove from the baking sheet.
