- Honey - 3 spoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Ground Cinnamon - 3 spoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 tablespoon
- Nutmeg - ½ spoons
- Ground clove - ½ spoons
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder - 1½ spoons
- Wheat Flour - 9.5 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, add the butter, sugar, and salt. Mix everything together using a mixer.
Step 2
Add honey to the mixture and stir well. It's best to use liquid, thick honey, as it will make your work much easier.
Step 3
Add the egg and mix again.
Step 4
Now let's move on to the spices. You can add any spices you like and adjust the amount to your taste, but be careful not to overdo it. Additionally, you can include a spoonful of cocoa powder to give the cookies a darker color, which will make the decorations stand out better. Mix everything together.

Shape the dough. Add the baking powder and gradually incorporate the flour. Begin kneading the dough. Add the remaining flour.

Shape the dough into a ball. Wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for about an hour.

After an hour, we begin to roll out the chilled dough, first dusting the surface where you will roll out the dough with flour. (no thicker than 1 cm)

Take the cookie cutters that you like and start cutting out the shapes.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and transfer the cookies onto the tray.

Place in a preheated oven at 356°F.

Depending on the thickness of the cookies, bake for 10-13 minutes, keeping an eye on them the whole time.

Glaze: Whip the egg white together with powdered sugar; food coloring can be added.

Spoon the glaze into a bag (poke a hole with a toothpick) or a piping bag, and start decorating the cookies.
