- Vanilla salt - 2 teaspoons
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 8.5 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, preheat the oven to 392°F. While the oven is heating, beat the vanilla sugar and egg in a bowl. Add the powdered sugar and melted butter, and mix thoroughly. Stir in the milk and gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder.
Step 2
The dough should be quite thick and sticky. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove the dough and mix until it becomes smooth and elastic (you can add more flour if desired). Roll it out to a thickness of about 1 cm and shape the donuts.
Step 3
Place the future donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put them in the oven for 15–20 minutes. The donuts should double in size and become golden brown.
Step 4
While they cool to room temperature, prepare the glaze. Break the chocolate into pieces, add a little hot water, and heat until the chocolate melts. Then add the softened butter and powdered sugar, and mix into a smooth glaze.
Step 5
Pour the glaze into a wide dish and dip the donuts into it, placing them on a plate and sprinkling with shredded coconut or edible confetti.
