Ingredients
- Vanilla extract - 2 spoons
- Milk - ½ glasses
- Wheat Flour - 2 glasses
- Baking Powder - 2 spoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the vanilla extract and egg together. Add the powdered sugar and melted butter, and stir thoroughly.
Step 2
Incorporate the milk and gradually add the flour mixed with the baking powder. The dough should be fairly thick and sticky.
Step 3
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the dough and knead it until it becomes smooth and elastic. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm and cut out donut shapes (you can use a cup and a shot glass for this).
Step 5
Place the donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put them in a preheated oven at 392°F and bake for 15–20 minutes. The donuts should double in size and become golden brown.
Step 6
For the glaze, break the chocolate into pieces, add 3 tablespoons of hot water, and heat until the chocolate melts. Then, add the softened butter and powdered sugar, and mix until smooth.
Step 7
Pour the glaze into a wide dish and dip the cooled donuts into it. Place them on a plate and sprinkle with shredded coconut or edible confetti.
