Step 1
Place the zest of one orange and the juice of three oranges in a saucepan, add sugar and a cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let the hot juice sit for a while to fully absorb the flavors of the cinnamon and zest.
Step 2
Peel six oranges, removing the skin and white pith, then slice them crosswise into thin rounds and arrange them on plates.
Step 3
Combine the sweet infusion of juice and cinnamon with orange water or liqueur, and pour this mixture over the orange slices.
Step 4
Cover the plates with plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator for an hour. Before serving, sprinkle the glazed oranges with finely chopped mint.
