Goat's Beard Fritters
Ingredients
- Ground coriander - 0.3 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Goat cheese - 10.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the goat's beard and grate it on a coarse grater. Heat 20 g of butter over medium heat, cook the goat's beard until soft, then transfer it to a bowl.
Step 2
Finely chop the garlic, cilantro, and the chili pepper, removing seeds and membranes. Lightly beat the egg, mix everything with the sautéed goat's beard, add flour, season with salt and pepper, and form six fritters.
Step 3
Heat olive oil and the remaining butter in a skillet, fry the fritters over medium heat until golden brown, about four minutes on each side.
Step 4
Serve with a fried egg or poached egg, complemented by crispy fried slices of bacon or ham.
