Ingredients
- Butter - 4.4 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Gooseberry - 17.6 oz
- Vanilla salt - 2 teaspoons
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Cream - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make the dough. To do this, mix 125 grams of butter, 175 grams of powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, 400 grams of wheat flour, and 1 egg. Finally, add cold water. Knead the dough briefly, then wrap it in foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 356°F, remove the dough from the refrigerator, and divide it into 2 unequal parts (one for the base and the other for the lattice top). Spread the larger part of the dough in the baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the filling. Wash and cut the berries. Separately, beat together the flour, egg, vanilla sugar, cream, and granulated sugar.
Step 4
Increase the oven temperature to 392°F. Place the berries on the baked dough. Pour the sauce over them. Roll out the remaining dough, cut it into strips, and lay it over the pie in a lattice pattern. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
