Description
Graph's Ruins Cake with Prunes
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 8 pieces
- Sugar - 14.1 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Condensed Milk - 4.2 oz
- Prunes - 7.1 oz
- Walnuts - 4.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cool the eggs; separate the whites from the yolks; beat the whites until stiff peaks form, gradually increasing the speed, add sugar in small portions and continue beating until the sugar is completely dissolved, until a strong glossy meringue forms, for at least 7 minutes.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spoon the meringue onto it. Make five or more meringue peaks to place on top.
Step 3
Bake the meringue in the oven at 212°F for 150 minutes, increase the temperature to 248°F and bake for another 25 minutes; let the meringue cool.
Step 4
Chop the walnuts and prunes finely or grind them through a meat grinder.
Step 5
Beat the butter with a mixer, add the condensed milk, and mix in the walnuts and prunes.
Step 6
On a plate, place a spoonful of cream, spread it out, and start layering the meringue around the diameter of the plate, then place the next layer of meringue on top, spreading cream on the bottom of each meringue; continue layering the entire cake in a mound shape, spreading cream between each layer.
Step 7
Chill before serving.
