  • Orange juice concentrate - 2 cups
  • Olive Oil - ½ cup
  • Orange zest - 1 piece
  • Light Raisins, Seedless - 3.5 oz
  • Light Raisins, Seedless - 3.5 oz
  • Raisins - 3.5 oz
  • Dried ground orange peel - 2.5 oz
  • Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
  • Vanilla salt - to taste
  • Breadcrumbs - 1 tablespoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix the flour with the baking powder and sugar.

Step 2

Gradually add the juice and oil. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous batter forms, with the consistency of sour cream.

Step 3

Combine the dried fruits, zest, vanilla, and nuts with 2-3 tablespoons of flour (take from the total amount). Add the mixture to the batter and mix.

Step 4

Grease the baking pan with olive oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or semolina. Pour in the batter and smooth it out. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 356°F for at least 45 minutes (depending on the oven and the quality of the ingredients).

Step 5

Let the cake cool, but it's better to leave it overnight to prevent crumbling.
