Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Feta cheese - 1.8 oz
- Arugula - 1.8 oz
- Cilantro - 0.2 oz
- Spinach - 1.8 oz
- Macadamia Nuts - 1.1 oz
- Onion - 1.1 oz
- Safflower Oil - to taste
- Uchiko Spices - to taste
- Svan Salt - to taste
- Savory - to taste
- Chili Flakes - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the pastry in advance.
Step 2
Sort and rinse the arugula, spinach, and cilantro. Chop them randomly.
Step 3
Peel and chop the onion, then sauté it in sunflower oil until golden brown.
Step 4
Add the greens to the pan with the onion and mix.
Step 5
Add a pinch of each Georgian spice.
Step 6
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 8
Chop the cashews finely and add them to the cooled mixture.
Step 9
Add the diced feta cheese. Mix well.
Step 10
Roll out the pastry to about 0.5 cm thickness.
Step 11
Evenly place the filling in the center of the pastry, pinch the edges to make the pie resemble khinkali.
Step 12
Turn it over so that the pinched edge is on the bottom. Slightly roll out the pie.
Step 13
Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 12 minutes at 428°F.
