Description
The recipe was shared with us by Chef Sarah Johnson from a popular American café.
Ingredients
- Semolina - 7.1 oz
- Blackberry - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Cream - 13 fl oz
- Milk - 20 fl oz
- Dried Turkey - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the blueberries with sugar and let them sit for a few hours.
Step 2
Boil semolina porridge in cream with the addition of vanilla.
Step 3
Finely chop the dried fruits.
Step 4
Pour the milk into a wide saucepan and place it in an oven preheated to 320°F. Simmer until a froth forms on the surface. Skim it off with a slotted spoon and transfer it to a flat dish. Prepare 4 more froths in the same manner.
Step 5
Place a layer of blueberries at the bottom of the pot. Next, add a layer of semolina. The following layer should be dried fruits, then a layer of foam, and then again blueberries, and so on. For the final layer of porridge, sprinkle with sugar to taste.
Step 6
Place the dish in the oven and bake at 170 degrees until a caramel layer forms on the surface. Remove the dish from the oven. Garnish the porridge with dried fruits.
