Ingredients

  • Onion - 2 heads
  • Cooked Ham - 10.6 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
  • Herbs - 1 bunch
  • Cheese Spread - 8.8 oz
  • Ground Nutmeg - ⅓ spoons
  • Cream - 7 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Butter - 4.4 oz
  • Water - 4 spoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

For the dough, knead the flour, salt, diced butter, 4 tablespoons of water, and the egg into a smooth ball. Wrap the ball in foil and place it in the refrigerator for one hour.

Step 2

Dice the ham, peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the herbs and shake off excess water. Pluck and finely chop the herbs. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.

Step 3

Grate the cheese using a medium grater.

Step 4

Whisk the eggs, gradually adding the cheese and cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Dust the work surface with flour and roll out the dough. Place it into the dish, leaving a 3–4 cm edge. Bake the base in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and layer the ham and onion mixture followed by the cream cheese on top of the base. Bake for an additional 50–60 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
