Heart-Shaped Cake with Jelly
Ingredients
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Rum - 4 tablespoons
- Sour Cream - 17.6 oz
- Fruit Marmalade - 4 pieces
- Pastry decorations - to taste
- Fruit Jelly - 3.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Knead the dough, place it in a heart-shaped mold, and bake until done.
Step 2
Prepare the jelly using half the water indicated in the instructions. Pour half of it into the heart-shaped mold for the top layer (decoration), and set the second part aside.
Step 3
Cut the cake in half.
Step 4
Take the rum and soak the cake layers well. Evenly spread the marmalade on the bottom layer using a large knife. Cut the remaining jelly into small cubes.
Step 5
Whip the sour cream. Spread it on the bottom layer and sprinkle with some of the diced jelly. Carefully cover with the second layer.
Step 6
Completely coat the cake with the remaining cream or sour cream. Decorate the sides with colorful sprinkles. Top the cake with the set jelly in the shape of a heart and the remaining jelly cubes.
