- Sugar - 1.1 oz
- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - 0.4 oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Jam - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Take one sheet of dough. Spread it with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Step 2
Cut it lengthwise into 2 parts. Roll each part into a log.
Step 3
Cut each log into pieces about 1–1.5 cm thick.
Step 4
Turn the pieces on their sides and 'glue' two pieces together to form hearts. To help them stick, moisten the dough at the joining point with water.
Step 5
Take the second sheet of dough, roll it out, and spread it with jam. Then repeat the same process as with the previous piece — cut it lengthwise, roll it into logs, cut into equal parts, and 'glue' the hearts.
Step 6
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray, and arrange the hearts on it. Bake the rolls according to the instructions for your dough. When the rolls are golden brown in the oven, take them out.
