Hercules Pie with Hazelnuts
Ingredients
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Hercules Oats - 8.8 oz
- Dried Turkey - 6 oz
- Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the butter, brown sugar, and honey in a saucepan. Place over low heat. Stir until the sugar and butter melt.
Step 2
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the Hercules oats, dried fruits, and chopped hazelnuts. Press the mixture into a greased rectangular baking dish measuring 30x20x4 cm and bake for 20–25 minutes at 356°F until golden brown.
Step 3
Allow the pie to cool in the dish for 5 minutes, then score 12 strips with a knife. Leave the pie in the dish until completely cool.
