- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 2 spoons
- White Cabbage - ½ pieces
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 0.7 oz
- Ground coriander - ½ spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Parsley - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Mix the sifted flour, yeast, sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 egg, and 300 ml of warm milk.
Step 3
When the ingredients come together, add 50 ml of vegetable oil. Continue mixing until the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the mixer.
Step 4
Shape the prepared dough into a ball. Place it back in the greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and set in a warm place for 1 hour (or until the dough has doubled in size).
Step 5
Shred the cabbage.
Step 6
Heat the butter and vegetable oil in a skillet. Sauté the cabbage over high heat for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Add tomato paste, ground coriander, salt, and ground black pepper to the cabbage to taste.
Step 8
Sauté the cabbage until tender, which usually takes about 20 minutes. Add parsley to the cooked cabbage.
Step 9
Knead the dough and divide it into 30 portions, shaping each into a ball. Roll out each ball, place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center, and pinch the edges to seal.
Step 10
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the pastries on it.
Step 11
Mix the egg and 20 ml of milk. Brush the mixture over the pastries.
Step 12
Bake the pastries for 15–20 minutes at 356°F.
