Ingredients
- Chopped almonds - 4.6 oz
- Macadamia Nuts - 4.6 oz
- Dates - 4.6 oz
- Coconut flakes - 2.1 oz
- Maple syrup - 1 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder - to taste
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Place raw almonds, cashews, and 40 grams of coconut flakes on a baking sheet.
Step 3
Bake in the oven at 356°F for about 10–12 minutes on the middle rack, stirring a couple of times, then remove and let cool.
Step 4
Wash the dates, dry them, and remove the pits.
Step 5
Chop the dates into small pieces.
Step 6
In a blender, combine the nuts, dates, and maple syrup, and blend into a dense, pliable mass.
Step 7
Roll the mixture into small balls.
Step 8
Coat some of the candies in sesame seeds.
Step 9
Coat the second batch in cocoa powder.
Step 10
Coat the remaining candies in coconut flakes.
Step 11
Place in capsules and serve with tea or coffee.
