Homemade Carrot Candies
Ingredients
- Carrot - 7.1 oz
- Walnuts - 5.3 oz
- Dates - 5.3 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1.6 oz
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate - 3.2 oz
- Coconut flakes - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide

Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the carrots, peel them, cut them lengthwise into 0.5 cm thick slices, then into strips and small cubes.
Step 3
Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet, lightly roasting them while stirring constantly.
Step 4
Grind the walnuts in a blender, leaving some large pieces.
Step 5
Wash the dates, dry them, remove the pits, and chop finely.
Step 6
Heat the cocoa butter (can be replaced with coconut or butter) in a skillet, sauté the carrots until soft over medium heat.
Step 7
Add the chopped dates to the carrots, simmer for 1 minute.
Step 8
Add honey to the skillet and mix everything together.
Step 9
Combine the carrots, dates, and walnuts.
Step 10
Break the chocolate, add 15 grams of cocoa butter (or butter), and melt it in the microwave. Roll the resulting mixture into balls weighing 25 grams. Dip some of the candies in chocolate and roll others in coconut flakes. Place in the freezer in a sealed container for 1 hour.
Step 11
Distribute into capsules and serve.
