Homemade Cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 28.2 oz
- Sugar - 14.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Clarified Butter - 6.3 oz
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soften the butter to room temperature, add sugar, and beat until fluffy.
Step 2
Beat the eggs, divide the mixture in half, and mix one part of the eggs with the milk into the butter, beating until smooth.
Step 3
Add two pinches of baking soda and baking powder, mix, and then add the flour.
Step 4
Knead a non-sticky dough, roll it out to a thickness of 0.6 cm - 0.8 cm (no more than 1 cm) on a floured surface.
Step 5
Use cookie cutters (or cut shapes from any plastic bottle as I did) to cut out cookies. Then roll the remaining dough into a ball and roll it out again, cutting out more cookies. Repeat until all the dough is used.
Step 6
After that, place the cookies on a baking sheet, brush them with the reserved half of the egg mixture, and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges. Then remove and let cool. It is best to store them in molds, as they become hard and dry out.
