Description
You can use any cottage cheese, even cottage cheese spread. You can add cinnamon to the sugar if desired.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2 glasses
- Cottage cheese - 10.6 oz
- Butter - 6.3 oz
- Sugar - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mash the cottage cheese with a fork. Add the softened butter. Mix well and gradually add flour until the dough reaches a thick consistency.
Step 2
Dust the table with flour. Roll out the dough just like for dumplings, not too thin. Use a glass to cut out circles.
Step 3
In a separate shallow dish, pour some sugar. Place the circle in the dish and press it down with your palm to make the sugar stick. Fold the circle in half with the sugar side facing inward. Press it down again onto the sugar. Then fold it again, keeping the sugar side inside. Press one side into the sugar and the other side into flour to prevent it from burning.
Step 4
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Arrange the cookies on it.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
