It’s packed with calories, but even more packed with pleasure. The creaminess ensures the final product's tenderness; it's important to take the whipped mixture out during the process and mix it well to avoid any lumps or ice crystals in the finished ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 10% cream - 17 fl oz
  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
  • Sugar - 4.2 oz
  • Whole egg - 5 pieces
  • Salt - a pinch

Step by Step guide

Whisk the egg yolks with sugar and salt until they form a pale, fluffy mixture.

Pour the milk and cream into a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add the vanilla sugar, place over heat, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
