Homemade marshmallows
Ingredients
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Raspberry gin - 7 fl oz
- Egg white - 7.1 oz
- Cream - 7.1 oz
- Gelatin - 2.8 oz
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the syrup into a saucepan, add sugar, and cook over low heat until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Step 2
Take the egg whites out of the refrigerator and whip them.
Step 3
Dissolve the gelatin according to the instructions on the package.
Step 4
When the syrup and sugar mixture is thick, remove from heat and add the whipped cream and gelatin. Mix well.
Step 5
Generously dust the mold where the marshmallows will be placed with powdered sugar. Spread the mixture and dust the top with powdered sugar as well.
Step 6
Place in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours.
Step 7
Then cut out shapes as desired.
