Description
Use only peeled nuts
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1½ pieces
- Milk - 20 fl oz
- Butter - 0.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Sugar - 14.1 oz
- Walnuts - 9.2 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 3 tablespoons
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Hazelnut - 2.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar until the mixture lightens in color, becoming almost white, and the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 2
Gradually add the wheat flour. Do this slowly to prevent lumps from forming — it's easier to avoid them than to dissolve them later. You can use a whisk, mixer, or a regular fork.
Step 3
Once the flour is fully incorporated into the egg and sugar mixture, you can start adding the cocoa. Be strict with this ingredient; otherwise, the paste may turn out bitter (if you add too much cocoa) or lacking in flavor (if you don't add enough). A little secret - use sweet cocoa instead of bitter to avoid overpowering the flavor and to prevent bitterness.
Step 4
Chop the nuts and lightly toast them in a dry skillet (this is optional). You can chop the nuts using a mixer or coffee grinder. The nut powder should be added to our chocolate paste mixture and mixed thoroughly.
Step 5
After adding the nuts, it's time to add the butter, which should be soft but not melted.
Step 6
Add the vanillin on the tip of a knife.
Step 7
Pour the entire prepared mixture into the milk and mix very thoroughly to avoid lumps.
Step 8
Place the bowl or saucepan with the mixture on the stove, turn on the very low heat, and start cooking, or rather reducing our paste. During the cooking process, it must be stirred constantly; otherwise, it may burn. After about 20 minutes, the paste will thicken to the desired consistency, and you can turn off the heat and transfer the homemade Nutella into jars. Enjoy your meal!
