- Water - 13 fl oz
- Ground Oats - 8.8 oz
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Salt - 0 oz
- Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour water over the oats and bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 5–10 minutes. Add milk and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 2
Be sure to keep the cooked oatmeal warm. At home, you can place the pot on a cutting board and cover it with a towel and a blanket for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Then add salt and sugar.
Step 4
As an option, you can add honey or dried fruits.
