Homemade oatmeal cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 12.2 oz
- Ground Oats - 5.3 oz
- Raisins - 1.8 oz
- Brown Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Honey - 1.2 oz
- Butter - 5.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 0.2 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 0 oz
- Salt - 0.1 oz
- Water - 4 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the raisins in hot water for 15-20 minutes. Then drain the water and pat dry.
Step 2
Sift the wheat flour and oat flour, then combine them.
Step 3
Add baking soda to the flour.
Step 4
In a blender, blend the soaked raisins, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and softened butter.
Step 5
Add the butter mixture to the flour mixture, and also add the honey.
Step 6
Mix until the mixture turns into a uniform crumb.
Step 7
Mix the water with salt and bring it to a boil. Add the water to the mixer and knead the dough.
Step 8
When the dough comes together into a ball, knead it with your hands.
Step 9
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm and cut out circles with a diameter of 5 cm.
Step 10
Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in an oven preheated to 356°F for 13 minutes. Allow the finished oatmeal cookies to cool.
