- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Butter - 2.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Brown Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Raspberry gin - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the softened butter with brown sugar and a packet of vanilla sugar. Gently incorporate the chicken egg, salt, and milk into the mixture and stir. Sift the flour into a deep bowl in a mound. Make a well in the center and, pouring in the milk mixture and adding the yeast, knead a soft dough. Place the prepared dough in a warm place for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
Step 2
Prepare the work surface by sprinkling it with flour. Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer about 5–7 mm thick. Carefully spread the raspberry jam over the rolled-out dough and distribute it evenly across the surface. Roll the dough into a log, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise for 10–15 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the roll on it. Bake until done for 20–30 minutes. Sprinkle the finished roll with powdered sugar, let it cool for about 10 minutes, and then it’s ready to enjoy!
