Homemade Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • Butter - 5.3 oz
  • Sugar - 8 teaspoons
  • Vanilla salt - 0.7 oz
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 1 glass
  • Cocoa Powder - 5 teaspoons
  • Baking Powder - 2 spoons
  • Milk - 1 tablespoon
  • 10% cream - 8 fl oz
  • Semi-soft cream cheese - 17.6 oz
  • Amaretto Liqueur - 0 fl oz
  • Sour Cream - 17.6 oz
  • Canned water chestnuts - 3.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a bowl, place the softened butter, sugar (5 tablespoons), vanilla sugar, salt, and beat with a mixer.

Step 2

Then add the eggs, sifted flour (1 cup), cocoa powder (1 tablespoon), baking powder, and milk.

Step 3

Pour the prepared batter into a greased and flour-dusted (1 tablespoon of flour) baking dish, smooth it out, and bake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 150–338°F.

Step 4

Then remove, let cool, cut lengthwise into two equal layers, and soak with liqueur.

Step 5

In a deep bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then add the low-fat cottage cheese, sour cream, and sugar (3 tablespoons), and continue whipping for another 3–4 minutes until a smooth mixture forms — the cream is ready.

Step 6

Spread three-quarters of the cottage cheese cream over the bottom layer, cover it with the top layer, spread the remaining cream on top, sprinkle with the remaining cocoa powder (4 tablespoons), and place in the refrigerator for 3–4 hours. Once the cake is ready, cut it into portions and garnish with canned cherries.
