Description
A simple recipe from a local restaurant, requiring a cup of freshly brewed coffee. It’s best to prepare it in advance, as the dessert needs to set in the refrigerator overnight.
Ingredients
- Whole egg - 6 pieces
- Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 17.6 oz
- Brandy - 2 fl oz
- Freshly brewed green tea - 7 fl oz
- Gingerbread-flavored syrup - 2 fl oz
- Savoiardi Cookies - 7.1 oz
- Cocoa Powder - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk the egg yolks with sugar, then slowly pour in the brandy. Once the sugar has dissolved, add the mascarpone cheese and mix until smooth.
Step 2
Brew the coffee and let it cool. Pour the sugar syrup into the cooled coffee.
Step 3
Dip each ladyfinger halfway into the prepared coffee with brandy for 2 seconds, then arrange them in a shallow dish.
Step 4
Spread half of the cream over the ladyfingers and smooth it out. Place a second layer of soaked cookies on top of the cream. Then, spread the remaining half of the cream over the cookies, smooth it out, and refrigerate overnight.
Step 5
Before serving, dust with cocoa powder. If desired, you can substitute the cocoa with chocolate glaze.
