Description
As an option, you can prepare twice the amount of batter. Pour half into the bottom of the baking dish. Then layer the apples and pour the batter again. Bake for 20–25 minutes.

- Apple - 6 pieces
- Fructose - 1.8 oz
- Margarine - 1.8 oz
- Honey - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Milk - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Star anise - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the apples, remove the seeds, and slice them.
Step 2
Melt the margarine in a pan over low heat. Add the star anise and let it release its aroma. Add the sugar. Once it dissolves, add the honey. Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon and add them to the pan. Caramelize for about 15 minutes.
Step 3
Whisk the eggs, milk, and flour well. You can use a whisk, but it's best in a food processor: first, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, then add the milk (without turning it off) and gradually add the flour (plus a tablespoon of sugar).
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 428°F. Grease the baking dish. Pour the apples into the bottom, then pour the batter on top. Bake for 15–25 minutes until golden brown on top.
