- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 14.1 oz
- Honey - 1 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 12.7 oz
- Sour Cream - 2 lbs
- Activated Baking Soda - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the sour cream with 200 g of sugar and set aside until the cream is needed.
Step 2
Beat the eggs with 200 g of sugar. Then add honey and baking soda, and mix well. Place the resulting mixture over a double boiler and stir constantly until it triples in volume.
Step 3
Slightly cool the prepared mixture, add 360 g of flour, and quickly knead a stiff dough.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 12 pieces (the original recipe calls for 6) and roll out on a generously floured surface.
Step 5
Bake the layers at 392°F for a couple of minutes until they turn brown.
Step 6
Assemble the cooled layers into a cake, spreading with cream (a couple of tablespoons is sufficient), and let it soak.
