Ingredients
- Honey - 4.4 oz
- Butter - 2.3 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Rum - 2 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Ground Oats - 3.5 oz
- Apple - 17.6 oz
- Raisins - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 374°F.
Step 2
Melt the honey and butter over low heat. Whisk the eggs with 125 g of sugar and rum. Gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder to the egg mixture while stirring constantly, then add the oats and the honey-butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Peel the apples and remove the cores, then chop them finely. Chop the almonds, toast them, and combine with the apples. Add the raisins, sugar, and mix well.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with butter and spread half of the dough, then add the filling and top with the remaining dough. Pinch the edges. Bake for 40 minutes.
Step 5
Drizzle the finished cake with honey glaze.
