- Sugar - ¾ glasses
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Honey - 5 teaspoons
- Chopped almonds - 1 glass
- Wheat Flour - 2½ glasses
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
- Nutmeg - to taste
- Ginger - to taste
- Citrus Zest Mix - to taste
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk the eggs with sugar and a small amount of salt. While continuing to whisk, pour in the honey and add the almonds (preferably just under a cup).
Step 2
Add the sifted flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and zest. Knead the dough, shape it into a ball, and refrigerate for half an hour.
Step 3
Roll out the prepared dough as thinly as possible and cut out shapes using cookie cutters. Bake at 356°F for ten to fifteen minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly.
