  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ g
  • Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 9.2 oz
  • Raisins - 2.6 oz
  • Pistachios - 0.7 oz
  • Dried cranberries with sugar - 1.8 oz
  • Roasted Peanuts - 1.1 oz
  • Lemon - 1.4 oz
  • Powdered Sugar - 2.8 oz
  • Grated Ginger Root - 0 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Dissolve the honey until liquid over a water bath, add the butter, spices, and baking soda, and mix.

Step 2

Blend the nuts, raisins, and currants in a blender until finely crumbed; zest the lemon.

Step 3

Mix a large bowl of flour, nut mixture, sugar, and lemon zest, mound it up, make a well in the mound, and pour in the eggs and honey mixture.

Step 4

Knead a firm, elastic dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour; dust the table with flour, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm.
